Sign a central midfielder who can walk straight into the team. Not have to be a "big name" player, just be able to tackle, cover ground and get stuck in. A Jonjo Shelvey type of player.
Then we should be able to stay up. Continue with Schlupp in midfield and we are done.
It is obvious the manager does not trust Luka, Hughes and Riedewald who, I think, offer more than Schlupp in a central midfield position.

Featured but rarely(Ebiowei) or never(gordon) used, neither will leave a hole.

That’s why I said the ‘squad’ as opposed to the ‘team.’
Vieira has continually said the squad is short of numbers so it makes little sense to let two more go out without replacements.
I suppose we could always go back to having two keepers on the bench which we have resorted to on occasions this season but really shouldn’t be the case after around ten seasons in the Premier League.

It's almost as if the owner had come out before the transfer window opened to say we'd only be looking at loans... and those loans could well just be loans out LOL.

Doesnt sound very promising does it , im concerned also , concerned he will walk at the end of the season if things dont change . a lot of players out of contract the end of the season and we will have trouble filling the bench .

Could see him walk in Feb if absolutely nothing happens in January transfer window. I'm sure both Pulis and Allardyce walking was influenced by lack of transfer funds.
