No Bizarre how you lot to have to pretend something is something it isn’t just to justify it to yourself. Laughable that these people booing their own national team would be the first to try and call themselves ‘patriots’ as well.

Realistically, for most white players, while I'm sure plenty are ok with it....you won't actually know about how they feel until a player's career is over and if they want to speak about it.....which is unlikely with the 'cancel' culture that people like you call 'consequences'. As for calling people booing 'morons', well ok you can see it like that. However, as this is the 'politics in sport' road you approve of and you're quite happy for players to exercise their free speech and 'expression' on the pitch so you should also be equally happy for anyone in the crowd to also exercise their free speech and expression. What's good for the goose. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Jun 2021 5.42pm)

It's not as funny as a leftist making a 'my country, right or wrong' contention.

I've hardly ever posted on holmesdale, but this taking the knee nonsense deserves a comment. Quite simply there should be no political statements in football. People don't go to watch football to be lectured and told they have so called white privilege just before every kickoff. Yes racism is bad. No sh!t. But this kneeling thing is a devisive gesture, imported from America and that doesn't tackle racism atall. Good that the fans are booing the knee gesture. They're entitked to voice their disaproval. I would boo the gesture aswell.

What do you say to the black posters on HOL who think it's a political unnecessary gesture which helps racism not one jot. There are some and don't forget wilf.

FWIW I think it’s a bit of an empty gesture which ran its course a long time ago, but if it keeps annoying people like you lot then I’m all for it
