75 million people speak English badly.

But yet that is how they speak it. And communicate with it. And understand each other when doing so. QED it's a language. And whether you like it or not, the teeny expense of translation is fully justified to reach out to a wider audience - especially this article with a Nigerian element where many Nigerians will understand this more than a standard English article.

Once again, how anyone can get upset by this is beyond me, save those who are just feeding their anti BBC bias.

And on that - the point about the BBC being a mouthpiece for globalism - please first define what you mean by that term in this context. It is a word with many interpretations, from organisations like the World Wildlife Fund to a thinly veiled white supremacy outlook started by the alt right in the US. Thus, are you saying that the BBC is globalist by reaching out to a wider international audience?

Perhaps you could volunteer to start a group willing to get together to pay for it because I’m not sure why I should. The powers that be in this country are incredibly good at spending other peoples money on matters irrelevant to our own wellbeing and to be honest the state we are in we should be doing everything possible to look after number 1.

Globalism is the current ideology of the ruling elite (although I hate that phrase)

It is defined by many factors but including:

1. Open borders (free movement of capital, services and people)
2. Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (removal of traditional social norms)
3. Technocracy (rule by experts and algorithms)
4. Transhumanism (integration of humans with machines)
5. Global governance (central planning, global digital identity, single currency, single tax system, digitisation of everything etc)

This is summed up by the books and speeches of Yuval Noah Harari and is very much an ideology (clue is in the "ism" ).

The only problem I have with it is, as with all utopian thinking , a complete dystopia in the making.

Not officially, of course. I mean, when you walk down the road the sense of white privilege and the overwhelming, overarching oppression that anyone with different skin colour obviously has to face, is palpable.
I go all gooey inside as I think of "Hope not Hate", "Diversity is our Strength", etc. They are not just empty words. Everyone living in these oppressive, frankly racist Isles, lives and breathes those very mantras.

Hope not Hate. One of the speakers at their event ? the bloke that decapitated Lee Rigby in Greenwich.

Rubbish article from the Mail about the BBC talent that is looking to leave.

[Link]

Hopefully the BBC is not bothered by the "brain drain". Victoria Derbyshire who cost them a fortune with an expensive show that had so little viewers it fell below the threshold the rating people use to determine how many viewers.

The BBC is finally having a clear out none of these people are stars and hopefully there replacements will be paid a lot less money.

The only presenter I can think of who merits the title Talent is Graham Norton the rest maybe professional at their job but many are vastly overpaid and will not be missed.

It's women's football. Who honestly cares? I am all for slating the BBC but we have to maintain some standards. All white, all black, all yellow, it is utterly irrelevant. The bigger issue is why it wastes money on covering women's football at all.

The BBC is the enemy. End of story. Constantly banging on about petty examples of this does not actually achieve anything. This is just froth.

Why is anyone surprised?

There is a clear agenda to promote minorities over the majority.
It affects every institution, industry and entertainment.

Look at our 'choice' for the next Prime Minister, and then consider this country's demographics.

We are being subjugated.
