Definitive stats from the Premier League site: Speroni: Hennessey: So basically they're pretty similar. WH has let in more goals, but also made more saves, which shows that our defence is not as good now as it was then, or that other teams now have better attackers. Despite the critics on here, WH has only made 3 errors leading to goals. Let this rest now!

Shave off Ten games and six goals conceded from Jule's stats as they are from way back when, so not really comparable. Then screw up stats because they they can be skewed to hide the real issues. If you can't see that Henessey has a huge negative impact on that defence then I don't know what games you watch CPJ. They don't trust him and they've got another game other than their own to worry about. You can see it all over Dann when he plays. He hesitates to pass back and gets in a fluster.

You really are incredible! Why not also take off any games where Speroni let in a goal? These are official stats - sorry if they don't agree with your twisted mindset!

You will not get any sense out of him, he twists facts constantly Constantly posts saying same thing. We know his view and respect that he has aright to express them (but not constantly) however he is in capable of excepting that others have different views and do not accept his distortion of the facts. Both goalkeepers over there career have very similar stats, however the majority of Jules has been at a lower level,WH has senior caps and Speroni doesn't. WH market value has always been higher than Julian even at his peak. Julian has been a great servant however his time at the top has gone. I am just suprised the moderators do nothing. Edited by Palace in the Blood (06 Oct 2017 1.41pm) how have you worked out jules is valued less than hennessey he hasnt played for 2 years or you basing it on international level if so wales doesnt have much of a choice, there is age difference which always puts more value on, also what as jules done wrong in the matchs he has played to say he is finished

Unless you want to chuck in a few goals and games from Henessey's 2004/2005 season. We're comparing the two keepers on what they can do for us now, in this period in the PL. Not what they could do at the start of the 2000's. Would be a bit pointless that wouldn't it. You hate a bit of common sense, it completely ruins your arguments.

can we stop this topic now. we have only 2 first team keepers until jan the earlist, so banging on about how bad they are for one reason or another wont change things. so put all your knives away and try and encourage rather than destroy them because it doesnt help us in any way

Sorry, but you asked people to produce stats in support of their argument against your insulting tirade. Those stats have now been produced from the official PL site - and guess what, you dismiss them as they don't support your argument. You said yesterday (I think) that you just want everyone to admit that you were right all along, and that really sums you up.

38-odd pages (depending on your settings, and whether you chose to believe the page-count, or just count the ones you like). There are no winners in internet arguments. Who else can we sack from Palace ? Every crowd has been 5hlt and made Selhurst a library since Huddersfield got their first goal. They can fck off too. This really is why I'm self-employed
I disengage, I turn the page. |
