Sean dyche is on holiday according to the report. I suspect it will be dyche. I would expect a appointment by next week.

We should welcome this. If a big club comes in for him, it is because he has been successful with us.

Never mind everything Parish said about doing this properly, the investors ratifying the decisions, considering a number of people on the shortlist, etc etc all of which suggested nothing would be done in haste. The bookies must be p!ssing themselves with how much money they're making off the mugs betting on this bollox!

Dyche is the 5/2 favourite on oddschecker. What a depressing thought

By the way Steve Bruce is in at 20/1. Just saying.

Dyche's odds aren't short enough to suggest anyone has substantial knowledge that he's coming here. Just like Pellegrino - who can now be backed at 7/1 on Paddy Power - this is just betting markets moving. Not that I'd be disappointed with Dyche - a little underwhelmed perhaps, but not remotely worried about relegation.

I think Dyche would keep us up but we'd finish in the bottom half of the table. As opposed to a Pellegrino or Tuchel who would get us in the top ten in my opinion.

I cant say that I think SD would be a bad choice, I just think its a chance missed to really go for it. Bear in mind that the figures released today show that we got £113m this season alone from the PL. Good players need managers with flair and vision. I view SD as a manager in the grind it out and try and just keep safe mould.

As only about 4 point was the difference between 10th and 17th the reality is we are looking for a manager who can keep us up for another 3 years plus. Stoke, Southampton and Bournemouth were all with in 2 results from us. Dyche knows the league. Pellegrino is more of a gamble to get possibly another 5-6 points or relegation? More I think about it Dyche is likely to be the safer option. Other than the top 7 it is about avoiding relegation. Edited by fish mitten (02 Jun 2017 12.51am)
