This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave This was well put from one of ours on there: "What I find funny is your Mrs Bucket attitude to us. You remind me of the council estate slapper, who for years has been knocking around with lowlife, then a sugar daddy comes along, builds her a new home, and she thinks her sh*t doesn’t stink. Brighton and Hove Albion - all fur coat and no knickers."
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Not sure many people have picked up on this... but nine council flats will be built in two to four-storey blocks at the rear of the Holmesdale Road Stand to replace those lost as a result of the Main Stand expansion. It’s the only way that you’ll get things built in London now days. Have a look at the pictures of Wimbledon’s neew ground at the old dog track. Surrounded by flats. Looks very very tight space wise for them.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave And Brentford's new ground, totally hemmed in by flats. Short sighted by the Councils if you ask me, however they have big housing targets so will squeeze homes in anywhere they can

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Another aspect that catches my attention. The gallery housing the TV, etc in the Arthur Wait is to be removed so, presumably, the TV cameras will now be positioned in the 'new' stand. The 'plus' to this is glare from the sun won't now be a factor. The new stand is to be linked to one end of the Holmesdale, but aren't the foundations of this supposed to be dodgy and sinking?

True but the media, corporate and directors box etc will all be in the new stand and, while I'm not saying it will be the same, it looks terrible at Wembley kicking off the second half to what looks like a half empty stand.
