Ranting? A bit overstated don’t you think? I was merely remarking that there are a lot of people who don’t seem to add much value to the country who could have quite easily have done the same thing in any of the countries they passed through to get here.
In any case I am neither a Leaver or Remainer. Hard as that may be to believe; I didnt and still don’t understand enough about it to decide either way beyond an emotional response which doesn’t seem sufficient.

Looks like JRM has shown what he really is and it is just a case of discussing a price for his services.

He is an extremist. He believes gay people should not be allowed to get married. He believes raped women, even victims of incest, have no right to an abortion.

He wore a monocle as a child - people that do that generally are not getting into politics to help the white van man.

He has never changed a nappy in his life, despite having 6 kids, reporting "nanny does it brilliantly".

He is hopelessly out of touch with the normal folk of the UK.

He supports fox hunting.

He opposes the human rights act of 1998.

He voted against a 'mansion tax' on homes costing more than £2m, a bankers bonus tax, and tax increases for those earning more than £150,000.

He has opposed increases in welfare benefits for the disabled, calling welfare a "safety net". He is a climate change skeptic.

And so on, and so forth.

If you like that sort of thing, he is probably right up your alley. A couple of appearances on Have I Got News For You and we think Boris Johnson and Rees Mogg are charming and humorous examples of elitist toffs, ready to slum it with the plebs for one night a week to get some laughs.

Truth is they are pretty dangerous with their extreme viewpoints.
