If he runs the team he'd tell Grandad to stop knobbing about & play him where most affective Where's that then?

Chelsea have a transfer embargo,Arsenal only have a limited budget, can't see him going back to Man utd, Should Wilf go to a top six club i feel he'll be warming the bench like Marhez at City. Thank you Wilf, wherever you go you deserve a big stage to showcase your talents.

I trust he's dropped for the next match at least in any case. He's contracted to Palace to the tune of nearly £7m a year and he's going on record in national newspapers touting his services to our rivals? I don't think he's got any real ambition to leave anyway, but genuine or just another grab for a pay rise it's This is a disappointing course of action and demonstrates an attitude problem. Edited by ChrisGC (20 Apr 2019 8.51am) Well said. The lack of integrity here is staggering - except with footballers I suppose one should expect nothing less, so maybe not so staggering. If I announced to the world that my ambitions lay elsewhere, I've no doubt that my employer would call me in for a less-than-quiet word in my shell-like.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

Amazing player at 'small' club has ambition! He hasn't said anything incendiary or derogatory about the club. I think Hazard's prospected move to Madrid could start a domino of transfers that may see a player of Wilfs talented coveted. Saying this my gut tells me AWB is the more likely of the pair to leave. If they both go then we'll have a lot of money...To invest very wisely!

The same old season after season story. Without Wilf we are Championship bound and for us he is irreplaceable. No one of his quality would sign for Palace. Give him another pay rise and move on.

Would be alright for someone like Wolves who have ambition to get into Europe. Can't see anyone paying £60mill for him either.

I think he should go. It's time to move on from the over reliance on one key player. My big concern is how any resultant funds would be spent as I have little confidence in those responsible for bringing players into the club.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle Gutted to read his comments but inevitable really. Good to see so many supportive comments. He just never will realise his potential with us. It is a risk for him though, wherever he goes next will not afford him the luxury palace offers him with some of his performances and antics. However, he is an amazing talent and has been good to us as we have him. Genuinely gutted he will be going but he deserves another shot at the top table. Hate to say it but for me if Wilf is going we should maybe look at AWB as well. We need some serious reinvestment into this team now. Wilf will leave a huge whole. I love AWB but we can replace him let’s all be honest about that. If there is not serious surgery on this team next season, it could be the time that the trap door catches up with us.

Interesting timing as he's blocked himself from social media for 24 hours. Thanks for the memories, but he deserves a chance at a higher level. All footballers are off line for 24hours
