It could be that some will appeal their sentences and succeed. More I would expect to be well qualified for early release as first time offenders. Once the deterrent effect has worked there will be little point in keeping them locked up. Oh dear! Shame Labour didn’t give the Rwanda scheme chance to be a deterrent

You don’t need to experience everything to understand the implications. Indeed sometimes some detachment may provide the objectivity that’s needed which an emotional response can obscure. And until you've experienced something you can maintain your idealised fantasy of what things are like. I've never been to the Philippines but I imagine everybody there is incredibly wealthy and lives in a palatial home.

According to Labour, violence towards women is now a national emergency. Attacks on public transport have risen sharply. I wonder why that might be? Remember though. The 'far right' are the problem. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (14 Aug 2024 1.25pm)

Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (14 Aug 2024 1.25pm) Women are Labour's number one voting demographic. Women, like minorities will always vote majority left (kudos to the enlightened few who don't). Minorities, do it purely in their self interest, but women vote left due to their biological tendency toward empathy and need for peer approval (amongst other things)....something that will even override reason (it's why conservative women are like gold dust) I love Eve....but she sure knows how to screw up the garden. We can actually learn from Muslim communities especially in terms of how they operate. Their refusal to integrate is their collective strength. So perhaps now is time to follow suit? Be pro your own rather than be defined by what you are anti. How are those communities statistics for long-term unemployment ?

Suffice to say every I have told you is 100% true. Why on earth would it not be? Perhaps rather than keep trying to criticise me, you could concentrate on the subject? Oh wow! It MUST be true then, with such incontrovertible evidence! And I love how the person who introduced a random tale of an EU citizen now (allegedly) living in the UK tells ME to concentrate on the subject. Your powers of self-delusion show no bounds.

This is an issue shared by white, black and brown people, although I bet it’s very low for Indian Hindus and probably Chinese and Nigerians. But regarding figures, economically inactive figures for 16-64 year olds in Tower Hamlets rate at 30% whereas everywhere else it’s just over 20%. Lack of integration, large families to mother and language problems among other things being the main issues.
