For what its worth, I went to watch Hamburg Vs FC Heidenheim in Budesliga 2 last weekend. The whole stadium is rail seating/safe standing and probably 80% of the stadium was standing. The atmosphere is so far superior compaired to anything I've experienced in England, even at Palace. The ultra section covered the whole lower tier behind one goal with the upper tier and corners joining in (we were upper tier in the corner). Flags were up, people bouncing for 90 mins. This is common in most European stadiums and its clear what the HF are trying to achieve. This won't happen from the front of Block B which is why they need to move. I appreciate there is the seating difficulty but if the club doesn't act soon we could lose them for good. Wilf aside, they are the clubs biggest asset. In case the HF haven't heard, BREXIT! - we are about to leave Europe, with all it's funny foreign ways, and regain our sovereignty, control our borders and go back to our good old British 'stiff upper lip' ways. - a nasty foul by an opposition player may be marked by a little restrained booing, or comments such as 'Oh! I say' 'Ref did you not see that?' and such like - Goals may be celebrated with applause, and encouraging shouts of 'Well done, chaps!' (and even 'get in there' from the lower classes) - poor decisions by officials may be also be booed (in a restrained and gentlemanly fashion)and the odd shout of 'Oi, Ref! Where's yer glasses?' will be tolerated. - Flag waving is not to be encouraged, but scarves may be waved a little at appropriate times and in a manner not likely to take someone's eye out. Thus restoring the club to it's former supporting glory whilst almost certainly winning plaudits if not awards for it's sporting supporters and restoring us to fame worldwide.

No we are not leaving Europe, we’re leaving the European Union. Big difference. And football culture isn’t political or affecting personal finances or day to day life. Or why don’t we go back to taking the opposition end?

Cobblers. By all means disagree with people, this is an open forum, but can you please try to post something half intellectual, engage in debate or even be witty. I pop on this thread once a week for updates and have to trawl through your boring one line snipes at people. Looking forward to your predictable ‘cobblers’ response.
