This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Great news for CPFC and once again congratulations to Steve Parish and the board who have made tireless efforts to bring our club into a respectable profile in the EPL. The decision to stay in our traditional home of south-east London and to improve rather than destroy and move elsewhere is exactly right. With a 6th season in the top tier looking likely (we hope?) surely only the meanest spririted and misled supporters can cast doubt on our current owners' strategy and achievements?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Great news and well done to Steve Parish. Previous chairmen would have opted for a cheap and crappy stand, but this one is worthy of a top Premier League club. Increased revenue for the club and decent facilities for fans. Win, win. Yes I agree with these sentiments. The next time I hear a commentator/pundit mention about the difficulties of getting to 'Selhurst Park' I think I will bellow out expletives.

Should be living back in Europe by the time the stand is finished, which means buying another season ticket. Question is do i buy,as previously, in the Holmesdale or epic new stand. I'm guessing most will stay in the Holmesdale.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Well done to Steve Parish and the other directors for staying positive and for their commitment. If you don't plan to succeed you never succeed. Palace will probably always be battling to stay up, but with increased ground capacity and improved facilities they should attract better sponsorship, and hopefully bigger crowds. That will give the Board more money to invest in the Club and attract (and keep) better players.

It appears it is not finalised yet, Comrade Khan has also to approve the plans. I haven't looked back, but I thought when the design was first announced, it was said that it could (somehow??) be built whilst maintaining the current capacity.
