This is the type of idiotic thinking that makes me despair.

The Proms is not a one off but a series of concerts over the summer. If the idiot who says this wants to put on a BLM concert then go for it I am sure they can make room for it in the calendar there is plenty of diversity although how may people care is another matter.

But leave the last night alone it is a tradition and one of the few times in this country when it is acceptable to be patriotic. In recent years during the Brexit debate some people chose EU flags over the Union Jack if that is their idea of patriotism fair enough but at least the remainers didn't try and stop the other flags.
