Oh I support Putin now? What's the point.

Look, I don't want to be rude, but I'd rather have discussions with people who can be bothered to actually read prior posts before making statements for people.

Pot calling a kettle black!

Considering your advertising and marketing history I'd imagine that's something you've done in abundance.

targeting of civilians is indeed a war crime. Not that anything happened over Coventry or Dresden (to my limited knowledge).

What is currently happening in Ukraine is a deliberate change in Russian Policy, and one that needs intervention, rather than soundbites, videos and sanctions.
civilians are being targeted by Russian military forces, and NATO and the UN just sit on their hands and wait.

Gordon Brown. The crime is in progress. We don't need a feckin trial after the event. We need the crime stopping

Neither the UN nor Nato members are sitting on their hands. Arms are being supplied. Sanctions are biting. Nato cannot, and will not become directly involved. Bad though things are, that would just make it worse. We need to find a way for Putin to believe it's in his best interest to stop.

Try a marathon. It might clear the head of nonsensical ideas and give everyone else a longer rest.

I can do a Marathon in three minutes...or could do.

But that's another Topic....in a minute and a half.

You are correct on the first use point. I miss read it.

But it does sound like you are defending him.

In this war I support the Ukrainians.....and I strongly support the peace process to lessen death numbers....I'm definitely against escalation unless a Nato country is attacked....then the gloves come off.

I'm critical of how we got here, but rather than a defence of Putin that's more a criticism of our own elites over the last thirty years. It's all been posted in previous days

Big Military build up of Russian troops and Armour in the Belarussian city of Brest, almost certainly looking to roll south and cut supply lines feeding Kyiv, They might even try going for Lviv.

Not sure how well it will do as Russian logistics are a joke.

Still Russia shelling Lviv puts the war a 6 hour drive from my doorstep.

The mountains are calling & I must go.
