A Non story from the Daily Mirror, Palace Want Dyche Apparently he wants to leave Burnley however when you read the article Dyche says he will leave one day but is happy now and Palace say they want Dyche but only after Roy steps down. Not going to happen this year Parish will want stability which Roy gives him. However when Roy does step down Dyche would be my choice as he has been for the last 3/4 times we needed a manager.

There is a strong possibility Roy may receive some pressure to take early retirement due to the COVID-19/age issue.

Right Hands up if your willing to admit Steve Roy and Dougie are doing their best for the club and are as rubbish as some have said.

My first choice after FDB left was Sean Dyche (still is when Roy goes) but he soon won me over. I suspect Roy was not first choice for many fans but he has done a brilliant job and it appears that the players like him because the dressing room seems a happy one. Or put it other way you don't hear complaints in the media from sources within the dressing room. If the virus had not struck Roy might have been given some money but I just don't see that happening now, we will be shopping in the bargain basement for the time being. That said lots of clubs will be hoping to get players wages off their books so I trust Roy and Dougie to keep an eye out there will be bargains. Well done Roy and the team COYP

Well done Roy and the team COYP To put it in perspective, Roy's record transfer fee is 9.63 million for Kouyate. Where we are is down to him, considering the lack of money available to him, and considering other managers have walked because of this, we are soooooo lucky to have him.

Been saying this since he joined, many fans have been disgraceful with their support for him. The players looked brilliantly fit against Bournemouth and the whole squad knew exactly what was required of them, all down to this brilliant manager ..very much the complete opposite to the opposition and manager yesterday. I truly feel that Parish needs to give Roy a decent budget this summer and say, this season is about progress and direction. Roy has steadied the ship, on a shoe string in comparison. We need to now push on and follow a new direction, spearheaded by Roy. So that next summer, his replacement can carry on the momentum. Roy deserves 60 mil to get some young blood in the task of appointing his successor.

He's been immense for Palace, and all without any sort of investment in the squad. He has his style of play and sticks to it, because we don't have the players to play another way, we played a lot more possession based football, especially at home, when we had Cabaye and Loftus-Cheek. We've replaced them with Meyer and McCarthy, who unfortunately haven't produced what we hoped they could. I love having Roy in charge, we are a solid premiership side, who next season won't get relegated, when he leaves.......well we've all seen what's happened to them clown's down the road.
