Great day for me yesterday, had a little flutter on four runners, two won at 3/1, one won at 5/4 and the other was a non runner. £100 profit. Nyaaaaah. Today's picks all run at Goodwood, and are Anna Kareena (7.20), Princess Sabaah (6.50) and Stickwithsterling (7.50). I'll leave the football bets to Bexter, who (in spite of plenty of bravado) has yet to post a prediction before the event!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Racing Tip of the day' by halfmanhalfslug Thanks again Saxon. Winnings now down to £16.78 then, but that's still not too bad. I'll be posting today's nap later, but I have spotted one good value bet, which is Belgium to beat Brasil in 90 minutes, at 7/1. In my opinion Brasil have failed to impress thus far, having fluked a win over Turkey, and looked very vulnerable at the back against Costa Rica as well. Knowing the Belgians' ability to keep a tight game and qualify against the odds, I think a small punt on them at such generous odds can't be ignored. After all, I got the Senegal-beat-Sweden and Ireland-draw-with-Spain double yesterday at 6/1...

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Racing Tip of the day' by halfmanhalfslug I have to admit to not really having a scooby today, but I'll go for Tourmalet (Warwick 7.20). Special mention goes to Three Eagles (Warwick 8.50) for obvious reasons.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Racing Tip of the day' by halfmanhalfslug Also FYI I have not had a bet on the horses for a few days now, G.A. is obviously working. Either that or the fact that I have blown too much betting on France, Argentina, etc, etc

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Racing Tip of the day' by halfmanhalfslug I wasn't far off on the Belgium bet yesterday was I? If I had taken the ref into account, though, I might as well not have bothered. Dodgy decisions and disallowed goals (which shouldn't have been) have cost me about a hundred so far in this WC. Arse. Today's nap is a double, because I'm feeling lucky. Back (both at Ascot) Kyllachy and Rock of Gibraltar and see what happens!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Racing Tip of the day' by halfmanhalfslug Today's nap is Lago (Hamilton 5.15), and I'm told an each-way bet on Scotty's Future (Ascot 4.20) is advisable. Riyadh (Ascot 4.55) also has an excellent chance.
