We have more players in our current squad who have represented England while playing for Palace (six) than Brighton have had in their history (five).

On the basis this is true, end this and any other BHA related threads.

EDN has won it for us.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Fairly sure it is! We've got the 4 in the current squad + Mitchell and Johnstone.

Brighton only have 5 in their history;

Ben White (2021) - 2 caps
Lewis Dunk (2018 - 2024) - 6 caps
Steve Foster (1982) - 1 cap
Peter Ward (1980) - 1 cap
Tommy Cook (1925) - 1 cap

Excellent

If Olise didn't do a 'Giggs' he'd surely be there too. Just saying.

All those one cap wonders as well

Peter Ward only got a cap because he shot and cum all over Mullery’s bum…..sorry to be crass ladies, but it was a song very much of its time and we were very young

Yup, you are correct, Palace have had 20 players who have played for England, although 2 were loans, but, did get their caps whilst playing for us & not parent clubs . . . [Link]

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

That wouldn't bat an eyelid in Sittingbourne Monkey so perhaps representing France despite being from Hammersmith is worse?

I saw an interview with Gareth Bale about Bellingham very recently. He was asked how he thought Bellingham would perform for England. With a big smile he said Bellingham will have to do what the manager tells him.
It shows that all players are expected to play to the manager's plan.
I dont like to knock any senior manager, especially at international level. It must be very hard getting into the heads of players who you are not with for long, especially when the plan will quite often be different to the players clubs plan.
As Ive already posted, we are so lucky to have secured Glasner. As we have all seen, the guy has a very clear plan and our players seem to mould into it. No doubt with some very good and clear support from our management team.
At international level, this must be so hard to pull off. However, there are obviously those managers eg International cup winners who have achieved this.
When I see Gareth interviewed he just doesn't come across with the same kind of inspiration as others. He just seems so deep and p/c. But I hasten to add that I am no expert on this topic. I really hope he includes all our players and some of what they have recently learnt rubs off on the others. Combine that with the Man City and Real Madrid mentality and we could just see us walking off with the cup!!!.
But that really is wishful thinking.

Lol, but incidentally it's 'fount' short for 'fountain'. Font means a style of text eg 'Times New Roman', 'Calibri' etc.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
