One complaint, if I may.

15 minutes to go. 4-0 up. Nothing really to play for and a team at our mercy begging for the final whistle.

If ever there was a time to play our youth without risk it was then. Rak Sakyi was sitting on the bench (having recently bagged a brace for the U21). Could he not have enjoyed and benefited from a run out. Imagine the confidence had he scored?

I thought the same.

I cant remember how he phrased it, but Glasner alluded to the fact that Jeff and Ayew have been in all season grafting, and JRS will have to earn the opportunity to get minutes ahead of these guys

Good point and I am hardly likely to criticize OG on his coaching, player judgment and man management given recent events. However, let us just say it is a pity JRS didn't get a run-out, even for just the last 5 minutes in place of Wharton.

It was even sweeter with their scummy fans singing the Cantona bollocks half the game. A lot of them weren’t even born when the Cantona incident happened. As for the end when they were singing ‘you’ve seen United, now fcuk off home’ as if we were there to watch that shower of s***. Good for the Palace lads in the Arthur singing ‘United get battered everywhere they go’ back at them

Now I’ve got that off my chest……a pleasant evening was had by all, well palace all

Cheer up, Man U fans. It could have been a LOT worse. Yeah; Harry Maguire might have been playing for you!!

Funny old game:

1972 - a 5-0 thrashing by Crystal Palace is the final straw for an underperforming Manchester United manager.
1990 - a narrow FA Cup Final victory against Crystal Palace is sufficient to save the job of an underperforming Manchester United manager.
2016 - a narrow FA Cup Final victory against Crystal Palace is NOT sufficient to save the job of an underperforming Manchester United manager.
2024 - a 4-0 thrashing by Crystal Palace......?

All feels like a dream. Not only did the bookies think that we'd beat Manchester United, supposedly the biggest club in the world, and most of us thought we'd beat them too but we absolutely battered them.

Imagine how we would have felt approaching that game 3/4 months ago!

The really incredible thing is that I don't think we actually played at the best of our ability. There are still areas for improvement, a few missed chances and silly errors that could have cost us.

It's such a shame that the vultures are circling not only our players but also Freedman because if we could keep this group together and strengthen it further, next season could be amazing.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Haha we was quite disappointed he wasn’t playing before the game, we needn’t have worried, the chuckle brothers Evans and Casemiro were superb for us

Not quite what I thought they'd planned but Glasner did say today that he told Olise to shoot near post. Maybe he's playing down the tactical analysis but well done for pulling this off.

I thought only Wan-Bissaka in their team played half-decent and I'd be happy if we get him back for 30-40 £million.

Way we are going our -8 goal difference has a chance of being cleared after the final two games.

Just think, if Glasner had arrived in January, we'd be in the top ten now.

If we can keep our top players for one more season then the sky is the limit - never thought in my 84 years I could even think of saying that ..............

According to the BBC in an article featuring a lot of highly inflated valuations of Man U players Wan-Bissaka only has one more year left on his contract and so only worth £10m

OK so probably going to be shot down on here but the wider story was always going to be that the bigger club were awful. I don't think anyone could deny Man U were terrible and are now a pale pale pale shadow of the dominant team of the 90's under Fergie. What must he be thinking now?

Yes, as a fan I am delighted we beat them and we played well with a clear plan and focus, all credit to OG for creating it and the players for their execution. You can only beat the team in front of you and we did that emphatically.

The big story is and will always will be more about how the big club fails if they do (which they did), even if the little club excels (which we did). If it had been Fulham beating them then we'd be talking about how Utd flopped.

Nevertheless they are one game away from winning a major honour and therefore qualifying for Europe. We would be quite pleased to be in that position. (Except they'll be thrashed by Man City too, won't they......??)

If any of our team were thinking of joining Man Utd, they would have to have a screw loose not to stay put and enjoy Glasner football at the Palace!
