Even like this if we didn't commit those uncharacterised errors(mainly Andersen) a point was not unreachable. The positives from the game are Richards and what Eze is capable of. Johnstone is and must continue to be the first choice keeper. Most of the other results went our way so it isn't as bad as it looks. COYP! I agree. More so Hughes than Edouard. I've had it with Hughes. He's weak and gets knocked silly all the time. He needs to workout in the gym and get some muscle mass. Anderson's (and Lerma) error in conceding the first goal is forgivable. But what I feel is that if mids like Hughes could "do their job" as some people suppose he/they can then that EFFING ball doesn't come back so often to over-stretch defenders. NOT ONCE have I seen Hughes pose any threat to our opponent's goal. I've seen Schlupp run, dribble and score, even from midfield, I've seen Edouard (on rare occassions) run and score from an assist, but never Hughes.

COmplete nonsense. Edouard is second highest scorer this season and keeps being put in places like left wing to defend. Hughes has done a job in many games is he pretty to watch no but is capable if put in correct role. Wharton does look good but I noticed he is not very quick this is something we really are lacking pace Eze did hardly anything he scored and the run before apart from that nothing. This system wont work with current players most of them are not mobile enough yes once this season is over and the fitness work can be started correctly it really will help but people like Mateta you can't make into someone who keeps chasing the ball even Roy understood this. When we signed Andersen I was not impressed but others praised it I mentioned back then how he was prone to errors look at Fulham and how he fell apart when they really needed him to step up. The manager really needs to do some research on our players he doesn't appear to understand much about them. What is going on with Schlupp? A common feature of his game. He can do the amazing, yes there's no doubt about that, but I was wondering how many luxury players the club needs? Also he never appears fully fit.

I thought Hughes did ok in the first half against Chelsea. He was playing higher up in front of Wharton and Lerma, often initiating a press when we were out of possession and Chelsea's centre halves were dawdling on the ball. At times he made Silva look a little uncomfortable and snapped into several tackles well. I think if we had pressed more as a unit he might have had more luck in that game. Agreed in terms of us in possession: very little offensive threat from him albeit in his defence he often has been playing deep without being asked to do a box to box job.

I agree with you,can get away with it in the Championship with his lack of pace but not at this level. Also as said by someone, where is Schlupp ?

Not sure where he is but as someone else mentioned he is injured. He may have played his last game for Palace. I'd rather the youngsters got his minutes for the remainder of the season

In his interviews he is saying that the levels are only there for 70 minutes. It is clear that this is the issue. The players clearly have the tools for much of the game it is the fitness they don’t have. Look where we would be if we could carry our first hours level into the final stages, we would be top half of the table. I also read this week that OG has the players in on Sundays now, he wants intense training up to Thursdays with the ability to play 120 minutes at high intensity. Once the Luton game is out of the way and with 3 weeks break to train I really think we will see a sharper fitter team against Forest and Bournemouth.

Agreed with Edouard and Franca. Really disappointed in Franca (sort of come to expect it from Edouard) but on occasions Franca has looked fast and promising but yesterday awful and lost. Hughes, seems to take him too long as a sub to get up to the speed of the game and ends up giving a lot of free kicks away. Eze is a luxury worth having. Happy if he does nothing and then produces that kind of dead ball and it was his first game back. Agreed. The are simply much fitter and had the ability to put there foot down when we were blowing out our backsides.

I think this is a valid point. Some players are just not good subs, it's going to take OG a while to work out who can come on and make an impact.

Hire Roy and you know that you can get away with a minimal spend and little player movement. Hire Glasner and I think we can expect the opposite. I think Dougie is going to have a busy summer !
