Funny watching them almost fighting each other over who was going to take their penalty. As Dele Alli pointed out, it's OK taking one when you're five up but let's see who's fighting to take one in the last minute when the result rests on it.

Which reminds me of the way Michael Olise calmly stepped up to take that penalty away at Man City earlier in the season to rescue a point in the dying seconds.

He was the epitome of Mr Cool and nonchalantly despatched it sending Ederson the wrong way after having to wait an age (it seemed) whilst VAR checked whether they could find any way to tell the ref to have another look. Fortunately, it was a stonewall.

I take a similar view to many on here and would be delighted if Everton went down this season.
They’ve been flirting with relegation for a few seasons while flaunting their big club credentials which, in reality, do not bear close scrutiny.
They’ve cheated, displayed chaotic executive decision making and , perhaps their biggest crime, had some very fortunate results against us.

Everton could be deducted further points for spending £300m and still being cr”p

Everton thrashing at Chelsea has also brought their goal difference down towards ours now as well.

Palace -17
Everton -16

Neither Palace or Everton will be relegated, so it doesn’t really matter.

If goal difference means finishing one place higher it means an extra £2.2m. In football terms not a fortune but better in our pocket than theirs.

You've forgotten that it's also reasonable for us as grown men to hold resentments towards other football teams. I'll make no excuse nor show any embarrassment about my disdain for Everton.

Something quite extraordinary will have to happen for us to be sincerely in the frame again so if it's between them, Forest and Luton, I hope it's them. Seeing them lose 6-0 gives me encouragement.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

You underestimate me, Mr. Bond. I probably spend more time thinking badly of other teams than I do thinking positively about Palace.

Dont know if anybody noticed but straight after the game it flashed up where the two teams now sit, when it showed Evertons position it had us down as being on 36 points maybe they have had a premonition
