Roy collapses at training on Thursday and taken to hospital with no details of the illness. This is the second time to our knowledge that this has happened (Pre Villa away game). He is 76 and 10 years past the official retirement age and working in a highly pressurised environment especially now with the position we are in. Don’t you think on a personal basis he would have made the decision to call it a day. State it’s on medical grounds and ride off into the sunset with his pride intact.

If he doesn’t do this it will cause an even bigger state of limbo with the club then having to make a decision as difficult as it may be. Time to move on.

Bring back Brolin

Was that really him at the Spurs game yesterday? Wonder what he thought of that? A bit scruffy compared with Selhurst Park according to Mr Parish.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Apparently Glasner is going to be at Goodison Park with Parish. I would therefore be very surprised if Roy was anywhere near the place. For everyone's sake, Roy should be at home resting up focusing on HIS health. For him now, who cares what happens on Monday night. Its over. Monday night should not be some sort of romantic end to Roy's career. It should be about us securing our position.
What would happen if God forbid Roy had another turn? No way should he be anywhere other than home on Monday resting up and positively planning how to enjoy his fortune.
We need to be focusing very closely now with our new coach looking on as planned and no doubt making some early suggestions as appropriate.

One would have thought that a medical professional will tell Roy it's time to call it a day, no ifs or buts.

Hoping he is not relying on the Palace medics who told him Olise was fit to play 2nd half at Brighton!
