Given that Paddy has apparently had an interview for the managers job at Oxford, it's just possible that his promotion to Assistant Manager at Palace is to help him develop and secure a managers job elsewhere.

I'm hoping moyes leaves west ham, I'd be more than happy with him, he's great manager. Yes we might find the next Frank or de zerbi abroad but I'd rather stick with someone who's got plenty of prem experience already.

I think Moyes is a great manager but I'm really not sure he's the right fit for us. Got a lot of great players in West Ham squad bu they're hardly firing...I mean, notwithstanding the "cup" no one can name that they won, they dallied with relegation last year. How?

Far from it, the majority on here among the normal posters thought Vieira was good, i would have sacked him during the world cup break, as i said, and the majority thought Eze was Lazy, position change was only mentioned after Roy came in, Gallagher i said was a poor player, cant pass, cant tackle, i have yet to see any improvement in him, and we will finish at worst 8th if we avoid major injuries, and if so there will be no incoming management wise, most posters change their mind every ten minutes

You actually said eze would be one of the top 3 best players in the world at 25, he's not even in the top 3 English players in his position. I don't think anyone would call him better than bellingham, foden or maddison. Tho he's a great player and I'd expect him to move to one of the big clubs.

I actually said 27 and top 5, which will happen, he is head and shoulders above Foden and Maddison, which anyone with any footballing knowledge would see, but we have that Oaf Southgate pontificating and choosing some really average players.

Seems to me that Parish has painted himself into a corner. It's worthwhile asking what does he want exactly? He doesn't even have a decent enough first eleven to play any sort of front foot possession football, no wonder Roy is a willing accomplice and perfectly fits the bill for the side we have.

He has one of the worst conversion rates in Europe, ive not heard one person in football say he's better than foden or maddison, I've not heard one person asking why he's not in the England squad and he won't even be in the top 50 players in the world by 27.

We will have to agree to disagree, time will tell, do you think we will finish in the top ten?

I see the big 6 all finishing in the top 10, Chelsea will come good, villa and Newcastle will battling it out for 4th, after them you would say west ham and Brighton are the next strongest, I think both will go through in Europe and west ham are still in the league Cup, so one of them 2 should drop off. I belive we're the best team in the bottom half, our target should be 50 points this season and we might just scrape into the top 10.

It's all there to be done. If we can pull in a couple of good forwards and two paces wing backs then we will be on to something special. By then some of our academy guys may have cut their teeth.
