I think that this has to be Roy's last game and prepare for Jan 1st with a new manager, he is tired of everything, physically, football, palace. someone has to come in and rejuvenate as Roy did last year, sad but his time is over.

Well as he stated in his interview, he has fallen out of love with the game and is just like an old man walking around a supermarket now , and will be leaving the end of the seaason . No point bringing in his recommendations for players as he wont be here . I reckon thats why we will bring in loans only . Hey Lanzo im heading over to Bluesea Costa Bastian Hotel in January , Any where near you ?

I'm pretty confident that Roy didn't ask to sign Henderson and Franca.

It will be loans only as it's the cheap option.

Baffled as to why anyone thinks our recent form is down to the Manager. Our best players are all injured. What's he supposed to do? What would a different manager possibly do that would be better?

Football is about players.

So Roy says the kids are not ready. Best team in the World Man City 2 Palace youngsters 2. Average age of the side at final whistle 23. Old man Mateta (27) helped by grandad Schlupp (30) and birthday boy Olise (22) pen, after Mateta, Franca (19) and Ozoh (1 caused mayhem in the City defence.
Stopped whinging about lack of players and experience, get rid of the same old, same old players and start using the Academy talent. And apologise to Mateta for doubting his ability.

The only reason we saw them was out of desperation, and boy did they show us just what they can do. Serious questions now need to be asked.
I just hope Parish saw what these kids can do now. Franca is pacey and skilful. As were the others. Wonder what that striker who never made it off the bench could do.

This was so much better from the younger players , in particular Franca, who previously obviously needed more schooling to this level. Today a much more mature performance from him alone. And it’s great because after all said and done he is a bit of an investment. This should herald a period in the right circumstances he and others will be used more often
But this was a very successful ten minute cameo, nothing more, that doesn’t mean he or they can hold it together , head wise or physically for 90 plus. minutes. Circumstances forced Hodgsons hand against Spurs, and I’m sure he wished he never had need to do it. But it is what it is , a bit more patient tuition and and a step closer for the lads.

Unfortunately the young attackers will not get any patient tuition unless it’s from Paddy. Roy has twice admitted that he does not coach the forwards and this has been recently been confirmed by Andros Townsend. This is one of the reasons why we don’t score many goals.

What an utterly terrible opinion....about the players!....Man, what are you on about.

It's about the cheerleaders.
