Great game great result rubbish defending of corners. On another day that would have killed us. It was all Wet Spam had.

Didnt realise he was playing. His transfer fee is rumoured to be around £100m, I would expect to notice he was playing.

It's a very Chelsea thing to do to pay £100m for a midfielder you don't notice.

West Ham. Long throw ins, ball being hoofed forward all the time and relying on set pieces for goals. It was like watching us play the old Wimbledon.

So pleased we won.

I said that to my son today. Also agree I didn’t realise Declan Rice had played today. We played some lovely stuff and at least the team made up for the shambles waiting an hour to get in. The guy I was chatting to at the disabled gate in Holmesdale road had his 2 grandsons aged 5 and 7 inside the ground on their own as their cards had worked only for his phone not to work and yet they wouldn’t open the gate and let him in. Even the police told the senior steward this was a safeguarding issue and yet they still did nothing. 45 mins later when they realised they had no plan b they just opened all the gates. Surely some common sense should have prevailed before then.

Thats a stuff of nightmares that game , drinking in west spam pub in Essex , it worked out there was 7 of us that have played defense 3 of us together , we all thought we was watching sunday morning football the defences was awful school boy defending , but overall we have played well in last 6 games 13 goals in 6 games our luck turned as i predicted it will , but was getting worried .

4 games left 3 easy winnable anyluck we can give payback to spurs and win all 4 good way to finish the season COYP

Roy appears to have unlocked the potential of the forward players. The ball needs to go into Eze and there's more movement around him. Eze himself is finding the spaces to receive the ball and when these players have a yard or two in front of them they can be clinical - I think Ayew's goal illustrates this well.
Defence from set pieces is woeful, I'd expect Roy and Ray to work on this as a priority, all the good work at one end was nearly undone at the other, the far post being particularly vulnerable.
I'd like to see the side push on for the 50 point mark, I think it is doable, and would be a fine achievement since Roy's arrival.
It has to be said that Parish made the correct decision in sacking Vieira, something was very wrong, these are the same players but look at the resurgence and energy they play with under Roy - a credit to him and Ray Lewington, and to top it all we've moved up a place to 11th

Was anyone else slightly (only slightly) disappointed to see Ayew central, rather than inside left? I think he's done so well there, it's a shame to limit his effectiveness with the ball when cutting in, picking those through-balls.

I quite like the potential for Zaha and Ayew to inter-change mid game. They can both play as centre forward, but both prefer the wide left forward role. Wilf pre-occupies defenders so much, I like the thought of the two of them switching about just to test the concentration of those assigned to them, keeping full back and centre back on edge as to who's in charge of who.

In general, we have a great balance of fluidity and discipline. I love how Eze and Olise have their thing going on. You always know Doucouré is close by, keeping possession ticking over, providing a shield for Eze and co to take a risk. Schlupp brings balance and drive, and Ayew works so hard.

A month ago, we were so slow and static. Now there's energy, there's overlaps all over the place. It should never have been such rocket science getting this forward line to work.

From memory didn’t wilf and bolasie swap sides mid game if neither was getting a look in ?

Sounds like it was an amazing game with the only downside being that we let in three goals from corners.
Other than that - what's not to like!

Made me laugh when we defended that last corner & got it away, a section of the main stand crowd was cheering as though we had scored, lol

Played well yesterday, apart from defending set pieces which has come into our play. It was never a pen, I would have been pissed off if that was given against us. Both teams are safe which is good, there are a few other clubs I would rather go down than West Ham.

When they got the last corner, from the reaction in my section, you would have thought they had got a penalty.
Where did the 8.5 minutes of injury time come from? During which Palace got a throw but WH player took it and they allowed play to continue
