If so, it’s the managers job to create a sense of unity, competitiveness and the fear of wrath in players should they not ‘turn up’, as they haven’t been doing so recently. That for me is our problem at the moment in that the players do seem very unattached to the identity of the club and PV looks defeated by this. I don’t think there’s a lack of effort. After all, they are professionals and keen to impress However, character, application and on-field leadership seem to be in short supply.
