Followed Palace forever. Today's team sheet raised my spirits and I enjoyed the game all the time it was eleven vs eleven.
From the moment we were down to ten players it was obviously going to be tough ... and it was.

It was sadly predictable that many posts immediately called for PV's head. I don't agree as I believe that overall, the club are building something good.

We have limitations and it is obvious where they are. I don't think our management is a weakness. Finances are limited and you won't find a goal scorer easily.
I'm off for a good sulk now ... and a beer.
Up the Palace!

Cheers!

Oh there is definitely an element of truth in it . Just don't want to upset the woke brigade .

Whichever players you may be referring to, I can say for certain that the inclusion of Dean Gordon, Andy Gray, Chris Armstrong, Mark Bright, Ian Wright, Yannick Bolasie, Clinton Morrison, John Salako, Eric the Ninja, naturally Vince Hilaire, would be an improvement one thousand fold over the big time charlie lazy cnut chumps we currently have masquerading as professional footballers.

I thought it was a very solid 1-0 defeat.

Only Guaita, Andersen and Hughes seemed bothered, perhaps we need more like them?

Have to say I’ve tried but I am struggling to see what you see in this team. It certainly has or had potential however if you look at the performances of key players they have virtually all got worse with PVs continued tenure. There is only one common denominator so I am failing to see how he is successfully building a team.

Knee jerk manager changes are normally folly but I’m not sure he knows what to do with the players we have, so do we stick or twist?

That’s extremely harsh man , our recruitment has been brilliant that’s why we still in prem 10 years after going up with a squad of about a million pound combined worth , blame viera if you like , not Parish

Parish recruited the yanks, FdB, renewed contracts that should have ended on players who were injured, past it or just plain useless (and continues to do so), he has failed in recruitment and succession planning, 10 years in EPL and no progress in terms of team, lack the ability to recruit decent players at affordable prices (Unlike BH&A + Brentford), wasted 10 years of Epl income. Sure he did good in 2010 but that's the past and it's the future that matters. If we are relegated, sorry but its down to him!

No of course I am not happy with what is happening.

Mate I have watched palace for since 1952 and have seen worse that this.

Keep blaming the manager but blame lays at the top

We are always going to be in the lower half of the table

If you expect anything different you are living in cloud cuckoo land

I absolutely don’t expect us to be one of the big boys but ten years in this league and we are no better than when we came up.
I have no problem with losing either but this current side seems devoid of any clue.
Aston Villa are a great point in case… look where they were under Gerrard. The board changed the manager and now look at them..
You can also bet your boots that Everton will have more of a chance now.

PV, Lampard, Gerrard. Top top players, but the cliche remains, great players don’t make….
Look at Vincent Kompany, dropping down to learn his trade.

Honestly do you think, Pullis or big Sam would be in this situation with this squad?

I love Palace, used to live by Selhurst as a boy in 78/79 and got hooked. I just want to see us fight and have the old spirit. A shot at goal would be lovely once in awhile too.

Finally, I would love PV to turn it round but I just don’t see it.

I have backed PV all the way but expected something today and now my head has turned and got the right ump

My God we need a clear out next season if we are still in the Prem. Three new forwards a permanent partner for Doucoure and two new full backs. To raise some of the money sell Eze who is bone idle.
