No I dont, but then I order and supply hospital wards with clinical supplies where I work, it would look strange if I ran down down the corridor with my shirt over my head if id just managed to make sure a department had their correct stock. On the other hand though, it is common place for a footballer to celebrate scoring a goal with more than just a frown. Originally posted by mtp1958

Am I imagining it, or has anyone else noticed that when Sky show one of our big games they appear to exaggerate the sound of the away supporters?

Why did Olise not celebrate his goal at all? Maybe because the rumours are true and he's off to a certain French club? I’m sure he’ll put it right in the post match interview.

My initial reaction was Olise didn’t see his goal go in and maybe thought it had gone over or just tothe side. When he realised it was in he may have thought ‘a bit late now’ ‘just play it cool’ Is he deaf then?

Only just back from SP but grateful made the trip now. Thought United looked bang average, can’t remember any real big chances for them beyond the goal and that late cross which was heart stopping. We gave the ball away too many times, lackadaisical and didn’t look like scoring from open play. Mateta was useless which is a shame as I quite like him, Olise didn’t look at home at all in the middle, very lightweight. Thought Mitchell looked good, Richards a bit rusty but far better than I thought he might be, Clyne and Guehi did well, Hughes MoTM for me was fantastic and unthinkable for Schlupp to start ahead of him. Jeffrey showed tonight, for me, what I have long thought is his best utilised quality: coming off the bench and injecting a bit of life into the team. In all honesty I’d of taken Olise off after 60mins. I will not be giving up the day job however and a goal like that has to put any criticism on hiatus! I’ve said it so many times already but that NEVER happens for us. It did tonight. Let’s hope this bodes well and provides some inspiration for Saturday and this run in. Well earned point in the end, could have been three but Eze’s pass was just a little short from where I was sitting. Surprised to see him go with left foot actually. Nonetheless, COYP!!!!!!!!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Played well against a good team. It was a HUGE point to get after our run of defeats. Hughes must be a starter after tonight and a good performance from Richards. Well done Palace, I enjoyed that

Guehi has not had much of a mention and i thought he was excellent. I think Zaha looks to be carrying an injury or is just jaded but he did not have a good game and has not had a good one for a while. Liked that we were able to win the ball in the middle but the amount of times it broke down when the ball was played into the front players was an area that can be improved. Admittedly the front players were given no room but if we decided to go over the top the front players were coming short and vice versa.

When I saw the selection I thought- thank xxxx for that! Although I couldn’t work out why he played both Mateta and Eduard. Why has Vieira taken so long to start Hughes? MoM and EXACTLY what we needed. Maybe Schlupp plays as an inside forward? He has his qualities but stinking out our midfield is not one of them. And that RICHARDS can play a bit…wonder if he can play right back…maybe the squad isn’t as bad as the manager has made it look!

I was worried we might get taken apart but am as we all are delighted with the way the team performed against the leagues in form side We still need some upgrades but Rome wasn't built in a day ,it will take time and this group of players will buy us it . Special mention to our centre backs who were outstanding in not giving the Utd forwards a kick

A well deserved point against an in-form Man Utd.

A better performance, lets hope we have seen the last of 4-3-3, Hughes MOTM, really great, had the palace spirit, also Richards had an excellent debut game, physically stronger than i thought, a bit more direct, but not as much as i would like, i have know idea what Edouards position is, not a CF, Not a No10, Not a winger, hmmm. Mateta is really our only CF, and he is at best average, Wilf was poor.
