Looks like Bournemouth is perfect too… 17 year old. Wonder if the women were in bikinis and he was offended. Some cultures are like that but we will never know as it will be buried away to prevent people having an opinion.

The guy comes from Lancashire (a bit of a hotbed for certain types), but as he’s seventeen we’ll have to make up our own theories as his identity will be protected due to his age. Still, I’m sure there was a reason for the poor women’s demise.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

Formerly, Sweden had a Culture of tolerance of open nudity. Topless sunbathing and all that. Not just the beach. Even, a city centre Park would have office girls on their lunch-break, catching a few rays of UV light. Swedish men barely batted an eyelid and certainly left well alone. Seemingly that culture has run slap-bang into another 'more covered up' culture. what a shame.

One thing Sweden should be applauded for, is their FA's refusal to accept VAR. They adamantly believe that football in their country should be played in the moment according to the referee's decision with goals celebrated immediately. Can't argue with that.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I agree, although I'd like the addition of an overriding rule saying that dissent against the officials, including questioning decisions and using foul language towards them, will not be tolerated. Yellow card for each occurrence and a red card for a serious one, for example calling the referee a "Jeremy Hunt".

The first part was zero tolerance to dissent, which isn't currently in the laws - or if it is, it isn't enforced.

As the law is written, there is, as I posted. Trouble is, thanks to Sky & money, they effectively told the EPL & then later POGMOL, its they who dictate what goes on, on the pitch, as sending players off because they didn't like a decision was not what they were paying squillions for, 11 players per side at ALL times on the pitch.

OK, so my proposal is ditch VAR and strictly enforce the law on dissent ie don't allow it, as is the case in many if not most other sports. This WON'T lead to 6 against 7, because players will have no choice but to bite their lips.

As for VAR, they do not currently have an effective Audio pick-up that can gauge what players are saying to refs. I do however, agree that VAR needs, not so much ditching as you say, BUT, a major overhaul as to who is in there, doing it. We all saw this season, that refs are waiting for VAR to decide for them, thus allowing them to evade criticism like they used to, you know, when proper footie was played . . .
