Just had a quick squint at a couple of Chelsea and Arsenal forums. Although there are a few negative posts the majority come across as being very impressed with Wilf and show a lot of enthusiasm to see him on their side. Still seen as our key player and a fair amount of scepticism that we would release him for a modest sum. Interesting to read some of the comments though.

I'm pissed off with this. Seems more than a rumour this season. The last thing I want to see is Wilf at Chelsea or Arsenal. Both can do one.

Although I can understand he wants European football and time is not on his side I will be devastated if he does leave now.

It will be a hammer blow to the team's confidence and utterly demoralising to many fans.

Unless there is a 'Wilf Mark Two' in the pipeline we will suffer.

There are now rumours surfacing saying Chelsea might move for Neymar. As much as I love Wilf, imagine the response of Chelsea fans if they're given hope of Neymar and get Wilf.

It is starting to feel like it was all media spin, but I'll be happier when the window shuts and he's still here...or we have Neymar as his replacement (yes, I know Neymar is a bit of a d*ck, but I am joking anyway)
