Absolute rubbish. There were EU Citizens arriving right up to the closing date to register, even those that had not necessarily been living here. They had plenty of time but I know this doesn’t suit your anti- govt agenda.
Still doesn’t explain why your friends in the airline industry chose to lay off staff rather than furlough them, wonder why they did that?

my friends? I take it you know more about brexit than two ceo"s of the biggest airlines spider, what do they know? Fair play, they made it all up on tv without getting a challange, oh well, brexit obviously didn"t have anything to do with staff shortages, the gov did a stella job- brexit good, who knew?

Of course I don’t and have never suggested otherwise, what I do do have first hand knowledge of is, the fact EU Citizens could still be employed here but that is never mentioned by critics of Brexit.
O’Leary was one of the most outspoken critics of Brexit, so he would blame it wouldn’t he?
Here we go an update for possible reasons why:

Correct. Mrs May told us there were 3.5m EU Citizens in the UK, Remainers predicted a mass exodus however when the scheme closed last year 5.5m EU citizens had registered.

Not at all, although the £47 thousand million the CONservatives carved off the NHS of our money still grates a bit-unless you are a cap doffing subserviant with your head permenantly nodding!

So you prefer to believe a baggage handler than two CEO"s of the biggest airlines?

In the case of O’Leary, absolutely. The airlines have c***ed up big time and they are doing everything to blame everyone but themselves.
Read the controversy section to get a taste of what O’Leary is really like. If yo7 prefer to take his word that is your perogative but I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could spit

Go on then list where it went. It’s ok to keep bleating on about it and I haven’t seen starmer rattling in about it. Are you sure it’s not another mirage in your head the same as taxi prices!

Has to be something in your observation Cryst. Otherwise Starmer would be banging on about it, like he has been doing with ‘Partygate’.
