I don't know about letting Wilf go but according to the media everyone is after Olise

I think there will be a major fan revolt if that happens.

If it should then only silly money would half justify losing him.

But this is about Zaha and I still believe in him, warts and all, and remember, Man Utd get 25% of any transfer fee so there won't be much profit to invest in replacements.

Hope he stays for another season.

Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders

Sad to say but Wilf left mentally about 3 seasons ago. Shame, promised so much, delivered occasionally, less so now. He will see out his meaningful career at Palace, no big club will pay a fee + wages for him now. I still cannot get over what he did at Spurs on Boxing Day - ruined my Christmas.

Something has happened to Wilf in the last few days. From very early on in the game he looked interested released the ball quickly and wasn't waving his arms around.

He got better and better I can only assume that either somebody had a word or if there was some personal problem in his life its been resolved.

Whatever the reason that was the old Wilf tonight, I hope to see many more days like this.

Not sure it was the Wilf of old, (still lacking that dribbling bravery for me) but it will shut the haters up for a week or 2.

There is no denying that he is still a v important player for us.

Just imaging if he has scored that pen and one of those chances against Chelsea!

Form is temporary. Class is permanent.

Even a number of our committed, serious and passionate fans need to give their heads a wobble about their Wilf comments in recent months. Even when he was carrying the team single handed in earlier seasons, he was criticised unnecessarily. And when inconsistency dared to set in more recently, wow - truly fierce.

I think he has played through injury and natural ageing, both clearly removing the explosive pace. And also perhaps has felt his status reduce from team star man to one of a number of options. He's as hard on himself as we could ever be - and when he performs like tonight, I honestly feel a sense of real privilege to have seen his whole career at Palace (felt the same about Jacko and Jim C, but that's a long time ago now).

We still have many "Wilf days" left, hopefully. The next year or two, if Wilf is still with us, will need us all to adjust in our expectations and support though. To a player who, whilst not still having the explosive pace, still oozes class and probably compensates by making better decisions on the ball - I'd say we are starting to see that already.

Sorry to be a soppy "Oldfella" - but we should cherish these days with Wilf, we will not see his like again.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

I was one of those suggesting he's been poor recently. That's because he has been. Great to see him bag a couple tonight...long may it continue.

Why am I not surprised people going over the top again he did nothing special in this game he bagged two easy goals towards the end of the game against a team which really looked poor.

So many here clearly do not watch the full games this is the same as the journalists that give reports for games they dont even watch the full games.

He looked ok for first 10min then did almost nothing until towards the last 15min.

The one good thing was he wasn't doing his standard sulking etc if he can continue that good I don't expect he will.

Great to see Wilf getting his form back. Getting right back on it. Just leave the interviews to Olise.
