Great news from Vauxhall
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

These are lesser attractions for young eastern Europeans, however the safety net is far better than their own once they qualify....they can also send money home....money gone out of the country that a native worker would spend here. Next door to me is a Lithuanian family. He works and has raised his children here, he knows that the welfare system here will provide whereas at home it's far harder, especially when he gets older. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Jul 2021 6.40pm) I know you have said a great deal, but these words are the ones that spring out. Their kids will be British and you will only know they are "foreign" by their names. And if they are girls, even those will probably vanish on marriage. The thought of them sending money "home" wouldn't occur to them as that would be to their parents living next door to you. That is precisely what I meant above by the population being refreshed. And it is the wholly unjustified anger and hatred of people towards hard working, tax paying, literate, fellow Europeans that I find perverse. I mean, who would post an anonymous letter to a young Polish woman working all hours cleaning our houses saying: "Go home vermin"?

I'm English but I'm also a European, and while I agree with Tom that the British worker does deserve to be treated better....by the supposedly 'British' government I can't say that incoming Europeans deserve that treatment. I don't agree with globalist attitudes to borders....though I recognise that this argument is lost and that the time when it could be turned back is decades past....but I won't deny that I'm permanently annoyed with the elites over it. I will also say that eastern Europeans tend to be more socially conservative and culturally far less of an issue. These kids are culturally indistinguishable from mine.....no knee bending from that family. They don't create ghettos, they don't form country wide grooming gangs, they don't increase knife and violent crime....Still, I know that these are old worn out arguments now. Edited by Stirlingsays (06 Jul 2021 12.51pm) No given there are 3.7 million EU citizens working and living here the issue is very much current.
