I wonder how long it will take for the i voted for Brexit voters to change their minds. Denying their culpability and start complaining. We've left and the s*** is about to hit the fan big style . When 200 fags and a litre of booze is all you can bring in just remember it was your xenophobic ideology that brought us here . To think that my children have been denied the freedom of travel and work within the EU because my fellow citizens are racist bigots hurts me.

Interesting it has taken the EU 3 weeks to start showing their true colours. Must be desperate times across the channel Our success with the vaccination is not helping in the slightest. Putting them under even more pressure to try and hamper us.

If you voted for Brexit do the rest of us a favour and kill yourselves you racist motherf***ers Rather disappointingly CPFC1965 turns out to be a thoughtful and erudite geezer who is full of remorse I rather liked the turbo charged nutter approach myself Anyway here is what he said: Anger and alcohol does not mix. Can't condone what I wrote. I'll draw a line under this and in future refrain from political debate. lf I have caused offence, I offer my profound apologies. Please feel free to share/post this on site. Cpfc1965

It was an honest opinion honestly, if over robustly, expressed.

Soooo Any wiseguys got any idea how the complete disaster that is tax/customs charges on e-commerce orders to and from the UK might be eased? e-commerce businesses that sell outside the UK are making losses due to the severe drop off of trade due to the new trading rules. Consumers simply don't want to have to pay an additional £30+ on orders, along with the paperwork and time delays. Yes if your business has a predominantly UK sales base you won't fold, but that's not the point, is it. Even if your revenue is 90/10 UK/EU that's still a big loss if you lose half of EU sales due to these charges. Now, the current governmental advice is to open offices in the EU to get around it. Yes – move business out of the UK in order to trade with the EU. Not sure this was the aim, was it? Also, not every company can afford that. All this is doing is stifling growth into EU markets and restricting sales for UK companies to UK only. I can't see how this is in any way a good thing, unless someone has a better take on it. It raises the barrier for entry even further to creating an e-commerce business (basically all retail businesses now) with ambition to grow beyond just a UK market.
Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons. |
