Just got back from donating blood I asked the Nurse if she had been vaccinated. She confirmed that none of the donor staff she worked with had heard a thing.

I mentioned that my GP friend is on 3 emergency lists so if someone doesn't show up and she can get there in time she will get one. She didn't even know about that.

Well I said I would give it two weeks so not judging just yet.

Took my mum to Epsom today for her first jab - the organisation was excellent and the staff were very kind as my mum was so nervous.

My 90 year old neighbour has just been called she has an appointment at a local GP on Saturday. I think that is everyone in my block over 80.

A mate from Lewisham called me today he is 72 he and the wife were vaccinated at a local surgery last week.

Hopefully this means they have found the 80+ people in our area and are moving onto the next age group.

Nice one. A weight off her mind no doubt, yours too. Here's to her good health!

Pimlico plumbers not hiring, and firing anybody who doesn’t have the vaccine Charlie Mullins is going to pay for once they’re available privately. Is he going to check customers as well? Welcome to big business and government. This will be about staff availability and job bookings as much as anything else.

Pimlico Plumbers has workers that are self employed and not employees.

Words such as hiring and firing should be understood in that light.

But big business? Really?

Clearly an evil stealer of freedom.

Meanwhile unvaccinated people wander into people’s homes happily stealing lives.

Maybe ‘big business’ actually has some ethics.

Sorry, but that's extremely trite.

All those people who got into cars today who ended up 'happily stealing lives'.

Tell me Maple, did you have sex during the Aids pandemic?

Yes thanks. Lots. And lots.

16 residents tested positive today, two went straight to ICU.

Obviously I'm not aware of the stats or the logistics around visitation management but it certainly sounds like you have an issue there.

For your older residents, maybe the vaccine will not be the answer you expected......
