EddieMac is 100/% right. This is supposed to be supporter's forum but every match day thread seems to be a competition on who is the biggest moaner who can whinge the most. Slagging off players and the best manager we have had in the PL. Some players out there are carrying injuries but are still giving their all and don't deserve the comments they are getting on here!!!!!!!!!!

Those players and Roy are working miracles. So to all you negative pricks I say. Go support a new team and learn something aout football.

Amen to that. Just to keep it balanced though, Meyer is just too weak, can't shoot properly and needs a yard to wake up which in turn slows our counters down. Pierick on the other hand is strong and direct and just what we might need in the absence of andros and schluppy - definitely one to consider off thE bench over the coming weeks. Good result and would have taken a draw going into the game, all things considered and bearing in mind many of the bottom sides picked up results meaning added pressure on a talented Norwich side... which btw has the player accountable for the second most chances created in the league behind KB at ManCity - bonkers to think and shows how tight the margins in this division are. Not our best performance but certainly we didn't do ourselves any harm. 1 defeat in 8, a youngster making a key pass for a goal scored by a guy who has been riddled with injuries needing a confidence boost. Given our home record we cant really complain at an away point to anyone. Now, lets get some more kids out for Derby and go for the jugular vs that failing total bunch of total football c***s that are Arsenal. Well done Roy and well done the players. HNY. EEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAGGGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As bad as Palace appeared today I think it really demonstrates that there are no hopeless teams in the EPL.
Watford (where we got a point), Saints, (ditto), Spammers (a win), Norwich(a point), can all play well on their day and did so today.

So whatever is thought of Roy's tactics, 6 points from that lot (3 away 1 home) aint bad.

Didn't think we were bad. Thought we looked knackered but still did enough.

Norwich and Bournemouth down? Who else?

I think we are all on the same page about our situation and what is needed now. We have got to hope that the powers that be pull their fingers out and stick a blow torch under Dougie Freedman’s arse...

Not sure of what to make of todays performance or the last few results.

Think it is fair to say we are ticking along nicely. I still think we should be doing better, but we could be doing worse.

Having 7 players out injured, does show to me, that we have actually got some strength in depth.

Obvious to everyone that we need a right back and a striker in January.

Nice to see a youngster come on. Good to see Wickham score.

You saw that coming yes.....

Zaha has some green grass in front of him here. Finds Ambrose
not a bad effort ooooooooooh! what a goal by Darren Ambrose absolutely stunning strike!!! And, Crystal Palace lead @ Old Trafford.

Best manager hardly look up the stats Pardew has better stats.

If they are injured shouldn't be playing he can try others

IMO we dominated play and looked in control, at the end IMO we deserved the point. I would congratulate all those involved on a good Xmas period with a very depleted squad. Please get that contract extension signed Roy asap and happy new year to all.

We looked much better in the second half for sure and with so few players knackered as well.
Good point under the circumstances.
Criticism in the first half was deserved

Agree we did well over the holidays considering our injury list to which Sakho can now be added - looked like a hammie!
Play the kids versus Derby and get ready to beat the Gooners.

FFS give it a rest. You really are a negative person.

Go support someone else as you only embarrass yourself with you biased views on Roy
