Who thinks that 'trans rights, are human rights'.....whatever that means?....aren't human rights just human rights and decided by humans?

It might be trite but it is having an incredible impact on UK public life.

And this notion of 'self-identification' seems to be almost fantastical.

From what I can make out, and I am desperate for somebody to clarify the position for me and if neccessary put me right, if I wake up tomorrow and decide that I am a woman then under these criteria I can fully expect to be treated accordingly. No ifs, no buts, nobody able to question and enjoying the full protection of the law accordingly. I guess I could insist on seeing a Gynecologist, expect full access to all female-only spaces and generally spend hours faffing about in shoe shops before leaving with nothing to show for it and nobody would dare to perhaps suggest I was taking the piss?

Now I accept that the last part of that is a tad flippant but is it any less valid than this almost Emperors New Clothes acceptance that these people wish to make law?

Because if my definition of it is true then we might as well just accept that Western Civilisation is over. Because we not only through the looking glass but fully agreeing that 2+2=5.

I think that is just called acting. May as well star in 'It ain't half hot mum'. I agree, however, that young people choosing to be whatever gender (and there are a gazillion stupid genders now) is just ridiculous. I'm hoping it's just a fad, like the gay TV presenter thing that left us with Julian Clarey and Graham Norton.

Personally I don't regard Intersex as a third sex.

Nature only has a blueprint of two sexes.....I don't think we can call pretty rare variations a third sex.....they are more flukes and exist as the biological variation which is part of evolution.
