Yeap totally agree Becky,Cahill is more than capable of taking the captain's roll. He plays with so much confidence and dare I say it a touch of arrogance. Give him time (a couple more games) and we'll have a reborn Jedi!

Roy's a master at this. Must seriously p1ss teams and fans off when they're playing mighty Crystal Palace at home and watch us play keep ball in our own third. I don't understand the anti and boredom stuff. The football under Pulis and Allardyce was pathetic by comparison. I agree completely. We are a well organised team and the players have never looked so comfortable on the ball.

Hodgson out. Why the f*** are we signing a useless plank like Cahill, Ayew is not worth a place in the squad and dont get me started on Ward. Doomed without AWB.

I'm shocked, I've just heard Shearer state on MoTD that the penalty and Ayew's goal were perfectly correct decisions. They were of course but Shearer usually argues against any decisions given in our favour.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'We have got great players' by Midlands Eagle I thought the performance against the Hammers was one of the best i can ever remember. We controlled large parts of it, yes they had chances, but they were the home team. We have got a lot of very good players, probably the best we have ever known. Forget the 1990-91 team, yes it was very good, and we finished third in the top flight, but the Premier league of today is far superior in terms of quality and technique. Everyone knows If we had a top quality striker, we would be scary! we could genuinely challenge for honours

I've always hated West ham.. Always found them a bunch of self righteous t***s who believe that they have a god given right to be successful... And I've just had a look on there forum and I'm right in my thoughts!! The vast majority of them thought we were awful and they controlled the game from start to finish... Really??!!!! I'll be honest I think a point would of been a fair result but hey ho this is football and we nicked it... Thought we were solid and sound and especially first half were the better side.. So happy to get one over on those t***s!!

I know Sakho prefers to play left of the central pair, but Cahill has to play next to PVA the rest of the season. He makes him such a better player with his in game management and leadership.
