I think it is a low risk signing with the club knowing the player and vice versa and provides some cover for Wilf and Andros which we don't have.

Schlupp gets far too much grief and he has scored more goals than Zaha this season. A useful squad player who comes up with goals and assists and has actually contributed more than several others
