Most managers in the Premier are stop gaps. I doubt if we will ever have a manager last more than 3 years in the near future. Its not a permanent job anymore, but a merry go round. Absolutely right.

See David Wagner just left "Cloggersfield" by mutual concent. He performed miracles in getting them promoted, then even greater ones keeping them up last season..!! Think they will disappear without a trace now this season. Don't get me wrong I love Roy - he is one of our own and I am certainly not one calling for his head. IMO - for what Roy has done for us he should leave at a time of his own calling. Then leave at that time with our eternal gratitude and thanks for what he has done for us and recognised appropriately for his achievements not only with/for us but within football management in general - as one of our own...!! But if we are/we're in the market - IMO Wagner fits the bill - would be great/perfect for us. He can also bring Mooy with him..!! COYP

He has failed to win more than 2 games in 22, can only attract people like Puncheon to his club, then is asked to leave.

What I took exception to was that you suggested that I wanted Roy to go - which was/is not the case..!! Hence my response..!!

We are extremely lucky to have Hodgson, we've never had such a logical man in charge, if I could I would award him another three years right this very moment.

To be fair he just watched possibly our greatest premier league win ever when we turned over man city. Beating wolves comfortably was a great result and good performance too. Hodgson is not all bad, but he is certainly not all good. I think that makes him a human being. When it comes off, like against Pep’s winning machine, it looks great. When we cannot turn over the likes of Watford, things look dire. Don’t forget though Watford are playing very well this year and the cleverly goal is a freak goal which he will never score again. We are creating more chances in the last few weeks than earlier in the season, we just have to start putting them away. Zara’s miss was bad but MacArthur’s was absolutely criminal. If one of those goes in and Guaita doesn’t get injured maybe we win that game and we have a different feeling right now, Roy makes subs like he is in the 60s, but that’s Hodgson. We will win enough games to stay up, the question for Parish is then can he move the club forward into a more stable phase with less relegation dog fights, which he has been unable to do so far. We are not in a relegation dog fight.
