Like many have stated on this thread, there is no argument that the HF massively improve the atmosphere inside Selhurst with their noise & displays. The HF then decided not to take up their 100 or so ST’s in block B and the atmosphere in the 4 home games played so far has not been good, although I’m of the opinion that this is mainly due to the team’s performances. If we had scored in any of the 4 home games played so far this season, the crowd atmosphere even without the HF would have had Selhurst rocking. I have been in the LH back row of block F since the stand was built and with the HF standing directly to the right from next season, with flags waving, I’ll probably have to stand for most of the game and I’m not sure that drum will do my tinnitus any good, so roll on the main stand rebuild!
A stockbroker urged me to buy a stock that would triple its value every year. I told him, at my age, I don't even buy green bananas! |

I share the opinion regarding performances. We've had much the better of the game in two of them but been clueless at the business end. Even against Southampton we had enough chances to get something. It's not like we've been on the back foot and needed a lift. I'm also not sure how the HF reconcile their supposed anti-corporate ethos with forming a contrived "singing section" (FFS) with the club at the expense of long term season ticket holders. It's so poor from both the club and HF it's almost funny. How to turn yourselves from a respected club into a bit of laughing stock.

I think you forgot to mention the petition plus support from the supporters clubs who want to create a greater atmosphere at Selhurst

In the FYP podcast I am fairly sure SP said a decision had been taken and it would cost the club a lot of money ( sigh ). THat being the case what's the point of meeting a delegationof those who will have their seats " compulsorily puchased " unless there is a possibility of reversing the decision or meaningfully increasing the compensation, both of which seem unlikely
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
