Have to agree that Wayne should MOTM today. Kept us in the game and let us hit them on the break. Pretty close though between him and AWB and is Schlupp going to turn into a scoring monster? 3 pre-season wasn't it and one today.

I said on here the other day that I'm not sure I see Schlupp as a regular starter but if he plays like that consistently he'll have definitely proved me wrong and I hope he does. Makes you think Meyer, Kouyate and Ayew will have to work hard to get in the team if we continue like this

PVA looks like a pint of Guinness, but takes less time to settle

So many excellent performances today; Tomkins, PVA, Schlupp, Luka, Jimmy Mac and even Benteke! But Wilf, AWB and Hennessy absolutely top draw.
Well done to the players and the management.

Great support from the Palace faithful too.

Great game of football that and fantastic result. PVA does get caught out of position a bit too much but the upside of that is he is always looking for the fast break.

Excellent performance by WH, not only making important saves but also holding onto the ball well when he needed to. One bad bit of positioning, but apart from that he had a more or less a perfect game.

We will cause all sorts of problems for teams this year and I am loving it already.

What did Sakho and Townsend do wrong?

this must be about the 8th time ive said he can replace Wilf if he leaves, we are in a good place,

we made fulham look championship ,and well done Wayne they could shoot all day and not beat him,he has taken big steps forward,

but please why does Teke hit a great shot outside the area but not take one when in the box,but everyone was great today

Played an adrenalin filled promoted team last year with FDB and lose 3-0. Same again this year with Roy and win 2-0. What a difference a real manager makes

Really strong effort that got a fine result. Passing not as sharp as in pre-season but give credit to Fulham they harried and asked questions that Palace found the answers to Wayne outstanding today, made every save including some really difficult ones and was commanding in the box. Wan-Bissaka is now the established right back and outstanding effort to create Wilf's goal. Another match where possession means zilch as Fulham couldn't apply the finishing touch although they created many chances. Schlupp owned their keeper on his goal by forcing him to commit and then took what was given. As the commentators said, a much better game overall than the soporific Moan U v Sleepy Foxes match last night. Lots of pace from both sides. Fulham will cause problems for many as the season progresses but need time to gel. Great job by Roy, Ray and the coaches, team was well prepared and looked the stronger overall. A great start to a season I predict will be Palace's best yet. As for the penalty shout on Sakho, no angle showed it conclusively and I feel he pulled his leg out just in time. On another day may have been a pen but Mr. Penalty Dean wasn't calling it as tight as he usually does. At least he was consistent with his calls throughout. Later in the season I'm not so sure. He was paired with the excellent AR who sent off Albrighton last season when Dean was too far behind play.

Thought Andros played quite well without looking really dangerous. But wasn’t it Sakho’s rash challenge that nearly gave away a pen? He always has one mistake in his locker each game.
