Brighton might not get another point with those fixtures...

Southampton too, who haven't won in 20 or 21 games.

SUCH an important result towards safety.

Brighton’s fixtures are terrible, they have to play the top 4, only other game is away to Burnley. I’d take our position over there’s right now.

Think we will both stay up. If so be great to have a similar game next season with us higher up the table and Wilf tearing them up.

Ward is still bang average at football and hopefully AWB will be back next week.

This formation is exciting but leaves us a bit more open because we don’t have wingers supporting the fullbacks.

PVA is a wingback who is great going forward but can’t defend.

I nearly had a heart attack during the last 10 minutes

Brighton's tactics were pretty basic but they were good at it... however, played into Henno's hands (literally) who claimed nearly every ball.

Sakho was dodgy for me today. Zaha was AMAZING first half but not so good 2nd; Tekkers was poor in his cameo I thought.

FFS we won and you moaning about players.
Get a life.

Great win today - just wish we could defend to save my aging ticker..!!

One more win and I think we are there, with the fixture lists of those around us.

Don't expect to be hearing from Willo today - too busy having contretemps with his wife on the way back to Brighton..!!

Bringing Tekkers on didn't really relieve any of the pressure did it. Mind you that run near the end to set up Wilf nearly put it beyond doubt.

I think those substitutions were actually Tekers for RLC and Riedewald for Cabaye, mixed up to confuse weed.

Now, I mate get slated for this, but I think Hennessey was MOTM second half...

This would have been the case had he not given the ball away time after time by either kicking it out consistently or to the oppo keeper. Very frustrating to watch, but great command of his box today and in particular a great double save in second half.

Joel Ward looked rusty today and certainly at fault for their second goal. At the end of the day we won and Brighton lost so don't care. Enjoy tonight and get ready for a pretty ordinary Watford side, who incidentally we'll go above if we beat.

Mensah is more suited to dealing with their best player imo on the left wing.

I hate Dunk and Stephens even more. Hope they get relegated.

Huddersfield had only one shot on target in the game and scored. Mind you Watford only managed two, which bodes well for our match against them.

Beat Watford and we go above them on GD.
