I'm not sure I really get this 'he played it into the six yard box and no-one was there' stuff. Wingers used to try and find a man and if the ball did not get to them it was a s**t ball. Now it seems that other players have to just guess where the guy might actually put it.

Well, if we don't come out in the second half looking to win these sorts of matches we won't stay in this league. It's all good fun to put in a big performance against the big boys like ManC but winning these sorts of games are the ones we need to keep us up.

Yes, yes and yes. Please someone don't come on here telling us he wins balls in the air from goal kicks. Flicked on to whom? You may as well have the best corner kicker flying them in to a front line of midgets.

You mean the flick on that produced our best chance of the half? I agree he's not having a great season, but he is still one of the best players at producing flick ons. It's not enough though. I always defend our players and I do believe there is a great player in Bentenke, but I'm starting to think he just doesn't suit Roy's tactics. Zaha now produces cut backs into the area or low crosses and in fact we don't seem to produce a lot of crosses in open play full stop, which negates his main strength. I hoped after Leicester he would kick on, but it just isn't happening.

Come on Tekkers. Do it for me

He came out for a ball which was his but our man (?) took the ball away from him. If he stays on his line he's criticised. Why don't you lay off him FFS.

If he balls up a shot and let's it go through his legs for a goal fair enough I won't defend him.

Like when he nutmegged himself to lose us a game 1-0?

Hennessey didn't get that ball because the defender had no idea or no confidence that he was coming for it, so he quite rightly tried to clear it.

If the keeper is coming for the ball, he needs to be screaming the whole way that it's his. Hennessey doesn't do that; never has. It's why the defense looks more composed when Jules is playing because he commands and communicates. Hennessey's a timid man.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

I loved it the other day at city, there was a moment where wilf was fouled and decided to take a quick free kick to whip a ball into the box. Benteke the whole time was stood on the edge of the box, facing the wrong way, watching the ref whilst everyone else reacted and the move came to nothing because of it. The bloke is a donkey. He clearly has the ability somewhere having scored in the past but needs it on a plate, never works for a goal. Where is that player who scored against us for Vila. We've got a lesser version of the player who dived against us for Liverpool.

Lack of depth within 25 man squad is painfully evident tonight. This can only render next Monday's FA cup tie vs Brighton as unimportant by comparison, irrespective of club rivalry.

Players look tired.

We just need a little bit of luck to light their flame!

Next goal is absolutely crucial.
