Tekkers has apologised so lets see him work his bo**ocks off tomorrow night and score a couple of goals. Bizarre as it may sound Saturdays penalty miss could be a turning point for tekkers.

I sit in G Block Holmesdale. I was livid on Saturday, I wasnt watching the actions of Bournemouth complaining, I was only watching what was happening at the penalty spot. Alydyce said he would never take another penalty after ruining my boxing day at Watford. Edited by A1969Eagle (11 Dec 2017 6.10pm)

His apology makes a difference for me and the quotes from Roy show he and the team are willing to move on. Having been angry and incredulous on Saturday, I'm sure supporting him as we should any player representing us on the pitch is the way forward; this could bring out the best in him, whereas booing can only be bad for him and the team's performance. As someone more prone to pessimism than optimism, I have a feeling we'll beat Watford and rise in the coming weeks.

Hopefully, he'll realise he has to improve his game massively. Average performance aren't good enough for a player on his wages. I'd start him tomorrow given but if there isn't a drastic improvement, drag him off as a sub and let him face the full wrath of the crowd as he walks solo off the pitch.

I wonder if he always tries to take 'clever' cheeky pens in training as well as all these misses. Looking at him standing there, Luka nearby, Jimmy wishing Benteke luck, Zaha and Tomkins throwing their arms around and Dann nowhere to be seen takes some believing. Couldn't get the ball off him, my &rse.

He’s apologised, let’s draw a line under it and move on. The best we can do as fans is to get behind him and help build his confidence because we need him if we’re to stay up. I’m sure he’s desperate to put it right.

Interesting decision for tomorrow night. I’d like to see him dropped as the message is more important than how many strikers we have. You can see by Tomkins’ reaction what is thought of Benteke’s decision. Roy also needs to put hair on Dann And Milo’s balls and tell them to have some leadership and authority - we haven’t had a leader since Jedi left. If Benteke is going to play he should be sat down and shown videos of Glenn Murray. That’s the effort required son, do that with the ability you have and you’ll be fine. It’s frankly baffling why he doesn’t. Rocket up the arse badly needed.
You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue |

I hope the rest of us can get behind him too, because he is our best option up front right now, whether you like it or not.

He can't afford one fvck-up tonight that's for sure otherwise the cat-calls and booing will start. He's put himself into this position though by not trying hard enough overall and being a doofus.

Im still so angry and that's not normal for me. I just don't think over his time with the club he seems to want it enough for me at all. this feels like the last straw for me. I cant think of a time where a palace player has belittled the manager, fans and the rest of his team. (kuqi Maybe) I just feel the attitude of lets get behind him and go again just seems like what does this overrated, stinking attitude no doubt would walk away at the end of the season without a look over his shoulder guy have to do for some to say enough is enough. if he put in a shift like Jerome, Murray it would be easier to swallow. to fight for a place in this league next season, I wouldn't want this man by my side, I want 11 players who care for the club that's why would rather speroni over Wayne for example. the phrase we haven't got better don't cut it for me. we was better when he was out and worked our socks. sadly this is driven by money he to expensive to drop or let go for cheap but if we ignore that he should not wear a palace shirt for a long time for me. maybe im wrong but I think it would be fickle to act like his some sort of hero if he scored a couple tonight. some will sadly. all wont be forgotten with me. it will take big performance for a long time to forgive harsh maybe. just to add I wont be booing and supporting the team. he aint a team man though his shown that.
