I would politely suggest before wading in half way through and turning this into another thread with you at the centre of it you go back and read everything. I was there, in the middle of it, refused entry and subjected to all sorts of chaos. Happy now

With the greatest of respect, all I was doing was commenting on what has been very prominent in the public domain regarding the disorder caused by our so called "Fans".I did so in the interests of debate, not to thrust me into the 'Limelight' on here.

I fully appreciate that there were chaotic scenes in and around the ground but whilst I do have sympathy for genuine supporters caught up in the incidents, I can also appreciate the difficulties for those entrusted to maintain law and order in trying circumstances.Clearly if they have a case to answer then this should be addressed by the relevant authorities.

At the end of the day the unsavoury events were the direct result on those reprobates who were hell-bent on wanton violence and one hopes that the perpertrators are identfied and brought to justice. If it wasn't for these hoodlums, genuine supporters would not have been subjected to such scenes and would have managed to watch our team get a valuable draw and keep a clean sheet to boot.

Thanks for sending. Can't really argue with that, and it's bang out of order to do that.

Looks like some legitimate people trying to get in who were not bothered by the camera followed by a bunch of masked lads legging it who probably shouldn't have been there?

While it's disgusting the way the police treated genuine fans it wouldn't have happened if the small minority of scumbags from our supporters hadn't given them the excuse. Very embarrassing and shameful moment for our club and just because the police acted like dicks (what's new with that? Don't give them an excuse, they'll take it every time) Doesn't excuse what our lot did.

It's about time we laid to rest this stupid manufactured so-called rivalry with Brighton, not fun anymore, sad and embarrassing evening. I feel for the genuine fans that got locked out I hope you don't have too much trouble getting your money back.

Perhaps, if they hadn't restricted the numbers allocated to the away fans for the match, this trouble may not have happened? I think we are doing the same to them for the return match so expect something similar.

While I'd like to think that I actually don't think this lot had any intention of buying tickets or even gave a s*** about the match, just a bunch of kids that are too young to remember real football hooliganism and think they are being really hard by storming barriers and chucking flares and fireworks.

Funnily enough I have a lot more confidence in our ability to manage crowd control. The Met is a better force and our security does seem to be on the ball. I also doubt very much anyone will get locked in for 25 minutes, let alone 45. Our quaint old ground works pretty well when it comes down to it.

Modern day football. It sucks

You obviously were not a football fan in the good old days of the '70s. Incidents like last night are a storm in a teacup in comparison. I was not there last night so don't know what really happened but after Hillsborough I find it hard to understand some poster's faith in the Old Bill's version of anything.

What you forget is that a lot of Weed fans support Liverpool first and they have previous for getting in without paying at Sehurst.

I can't help but feel those reports were self serving by the Police and BHA. I would like to see the evidence and the numbers. Probably one of those tiny Swiss Army knives and a sovereign ring.

Agreed..I can't think for one minute knowing the security in place that anyone would be stupid enough to be topped up. Stinks of 'cover story' as I'm assuming anyone found with these items would've been nicked...if so then release the proof.
