Could Anthony Taylor be the one?

I used to work in Saudi Arabia and I wasn't corrupt nor were any of those whom I worked with.

Don't dodge the question, or anything, will you, eh?

I'm not going to get involved in any disingenuous line of questioning presented as badinage.

True, it would be unusual indeed for you to answer a straight question, however presented. Nevertheless, I'll ask you what I think is a fair one:

In your opinion, are there any referees in professional football in the UK who are not up to what you consider an acceptable standard?

You are clearly doing your Jeremy Paxman impression.

I have provided a number of answers to genuine questions.

Those scummy Scousers did exactly what Bournemouth did a couple of years ago at Selhurst, took it in turns fouling all before them.
It really doesnt matter what sir mark clattenberk says ...sorry i mean Willo, the whole of the crowd on saturday knew it wasnt a penalty...ffs even shearer said it was.
And the fact the culprit commited at least 3 bookable offences(without the dive).
And the lad who came on Davies commited 3 in the space of 10 minutes.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

Willo the problem everyone has is all you try to do is find the reasons why the referee didn't give something, rather than use your knowledge to explain why he could have.

We all understand he didn't have to book anyone, but surely there's rules or laws in place to stop consistent team fouling.

SURELY...?

And it seems would fall under unsporting behavior.

Its just unfortunate that you'd rather argue till the cows come home about what you know about why he didnt help us, rather than look at various options in how he could have.

And that my friend is why you get everyones backs up.

I'll tell you what the problem with him is. Zero empathy.

It would be all very well making the case for why a ref did this, or that, or made such and such a mistake, although the case we're discussing here is a particularly outrageous one and there is the whole game to consider in which he was awful throughout, not just the one incident.

But the thing about Willo is he exibhits no consideration whatsoever for the feelings of Palace fans who are aggrieved by what they more than reasonably see as a ghastly injustice. As has been pointed out, with even a half-reasonable ref performance and notwithstanding the sloppy equaliser we win that game at a canter. We are all understandably well pi**ed off at being robbed by a series of wrong decisions that all went one way.

Except Willo.

Willo is sitting there smugly telling us we are all wrong, that referees do a good job considering, that the odd error is understandable (and this was not "the odd error", BTW), he knows better than all of us and our feelings are unreasonable.

That would be irritating from an away fan, but for someone who purports to support the same team as the rest of us it's just baffling.

It's not as if he's said he feels pi**ed off, frustrated, or even disappointed, is it? In fact he doesn't seem to *feel* anything at all.

And he has no other point of view other than that of the man in black.

According to the Times Mark Clattenberg has stated that Niase dived and it wasn't a penalty.

What say you now Willo??

That doesn't of course mean Clattenburg wouldn't have given it. After all, whether it was actually a foul or not doesn't seem to matter all that much.
