He looked totally lost to be honest. All seemed a bit too quick for him. Had a few nice touches, but not ready for that role yet. I thought he looked better than that & his passing is way better than most. He needs to get used to the speed of the game here & gain some strength but for a young lad thrown into the mix I reckon he did ok.

Comfortable on the ball, and was getting about the place. I thought it was a very positive performance from him, and I thought he is better suited to the CDM role. He's getting a lot of praise on Twitter too. Edited by Dan1994 (19 Sep 2017 11.25pm)

Huddersfield's left back was very good and they should have made better use of a few good situations down that side. Despite showing some nice touches Sako is overweight and might as well not have been on the pitch last half hour. He and Lee failed to hold the ball and take the pressure off. Riedewald went AWOL second half.

In time he may be good, but still thought he looked out if his depth at the moment. We'll down the pecking order of midfielders for now. Although I'd still rather him than puncheon,

I thought there were some good signs from Rierdewald last night in that CDM role, he and Luka were pinging the ball everywhere around the pitch in the first half. Second half he did dissappear from the game but so did Bakary Sako and a few others because we sat back more. Cabaye was no where to be seen when he came on but I think it was down to us trying to bypass the midfield and catch them on the break 2nd half. Van Aanholt had a good game at LB but them looked a bit quiet at LM in second half, Souare didn't show much promise but with it being his first game back you can't expect much. Van Aanholt miles ahead of him at the moment and hopefully Schlupp will get more time at LM. Lee a waste of space still as always...

Felt a bit sorry for Lee, his confidence is completely shot, and hes not a centre forward. I thought Sako did ok though, put himself about a bit and chased everything. Some really good performances though. Sakho is just so f*****g cool, he just brings confidence to the whole team, and loved the way he just took out one of their players before he was substituted. Huddersfield were their normal aggressive, nasty self, but we stood up to them well this time. Luka was superb as well, stopped anything going through the middle. PVA also had a really good game. For a team lacking confidence we played dome fantastic football 1st half. I think they were fitter than us and we tired se on half, but held on well.

Just finished listening to the podcast and thought Steve Parish came across very well. Have the upmost respect to him for going on the show for the best part of two hours and answering questions. How many other Chairmen would do that?

Couldn't disagree more...looked assured, got involved, gave an option when laying the ball off...passing was accurate and started to look as though he can mix it when the going gets rough. He allowed Luka to forray up the field..he tired in 2nd half and had a slight hamstring pull which is why he came off...but all in all a good performance
