Maybe the real reason SP bought Dougie back is he will end up as our striker if Benteke gets injured.

Let an Indian, Chinese or another American investor come in and take over over the day to day management of the club and sit back back and watch it properly unfold like it has at many other clubs who have been at a similar stage to ours. Blackburn, Fulham, Charlton fans etc would love to be in our position so let's be a bit respectful of what this guy has achieved in 7 years and not forget where we have come from during his time as per owner.

Has he made mistakes? Of course, many of them...but some of the stuff on here is just a bit over the top.

Can you not read? Some of us just want him away from footballing decisions.

Many bad football decisions lead to disaster. That is the point, and plenty of them are repeats from 12 months before.

Probably take Brighty's place and it'll be MB's fault for whatever.

Exciting losers with a garbage post match talk in the tunnel. Great. I'd rather get back to bottom half table achievers.

This is the point. We lost games 4-3 but we also won games 3-0, and we drew games 3-3. We havent scored a single goal this season.

I think it is true we have never had it so good compared to when I was watching us in the 3rd division south. But the real question is could it be better than it is now?

Remember Blackpool? That sort of football the neutrals love. Actually Pardew made that comment himself post match after losing. Fvcking laugh out loud if it was funny. But it just gets you relegated. Naive jumpers for goalposts shyte. Something good for the streamers until they realise in the championship there aren't streams every week.

Has anyone ever hit on a girl and ended up in bed with her ?

Only to find in the morning, your pants are around your ankles and there is a smell of bleach from your botty.

Ever thought you were on to a good thing, only to find it's you being fcked over ?

was it good for you ?

The arrival of a director of football does not mean that mistakes will not be made in the future and success is a certainty. Sunderland are a prime example where it has made naff all difference to the progress of the club.

Freedman has been appointed in the role and deserves a little time to take stock but you have made it clear that you are against this move. There is not a long list of potential candidates with the right experience who would leave a fellow premier league or foreign club to join us. A few who are currently unemployed such as Cortesi would be an option but they are unemployed for a reason. Mainly because they are straight in the press after leaving clubs.

Not sure why you don't apply Rudi, with your experience of watching football for decades and the ability to save the club £120 million I would imagine you are a shoe-in.

How do you know? We're the 20th highest revenue club or something.

If parish took my advice he'd have flown back from Spain and gone all out for silva and if not given it to Dyche. Now going by past and recent performance I'd estimate that meaning 4+ points, possibly 9, then saving £2 mil comply and very likely the many millions and years in the championship, so yeah, i reckon I've got more of an idea on football than parish. Did you not hear the desperate Campbell speech.

Got anything to add, apart from just w*nking? The whole football fraternity said it was a recipe for disaster and it happened because we wanted Pellegrino and ended up with 'evolutionary not revolutionary' Frank with little logic behind it.

What a walley, you remind of those sad goons who critique professional boxers or MMA fighters because they've had a few boxing classes. They know how to throw a jab and a straight right but have no idea how the angles work, where to place there feet and set combinations up. Whats your background in football then Rudi? if you haven't been involved with a prem team then forgive me thinking you know jacks*** about football like the rest of us FANS.
