I thought we did well today, massive improvement. We do need another winger as we're screwed when wilfs injured. Hennessy was brilliant also.

Liverpool missed their first easy chance because this briliant keeper flapped at a cross, you can watch it again later on MOTD!

Maybee the management will wake up and strengthen the squad now that wilf is away and we do need a striker and Mamadou Sakho or another Sakho at the back.
Pitty though that Dann gave the ball away so that Liverpool w***er could score.
Next week SWANSEA , and could be 3 points on the board.

From where I was sat it looked like Luka gave the ball away.

Ignore all the good saves he made because it suits your agenda.

Yeah, you have to admit Hennessey had a good game today. Very sharp and made a lot of quick saves.

All the good saves would have been made after giving them the lead, you do understand that.

I only read the reports of last week's game but watched today's via a stream. My comparisons are therefore between the way we played under SA and now, under FdB. I thought we were really poor today and looked as though we expected to lose. For me what shone out has nothing to do with the "system" but that the players have lost belief and confidence. Missed passes abounded and we gave the ball away frequently. No-one seemed to have any idea what to do to mount any kind of telling attack. Nothing came in from the wings. If that was better than last week then last week must have been terrible. For me that stank of a very long battle season again but this time without the heart for a battle.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

From the radio only, but it sounded to me like Hennessey kept us in that with some excellent goalkeeping and if Tekers had put his chance away would have won us a decent point.

A lot of positives. I didn't see the 1st half but saw them in the 2nd half stand off our back line which I was surprised at. But they were confident they'd win it back, get chances and eventually get the key 1st goal.

Punch needs to be dropped quick and Ward needs replacing.

It's going to be a different dynamic next week so it'll be interesting how we do. Adjusting in games I think could be more important than we realise atm.

That would be because we were chasing the game and having to come out more, of course.

Or on your planet I suppose it's evidence of s*** goalkeeping, zat right?

Yep. His miss was almost like those he missed for Liverpool.
