No he's not and I've been one of his fiercest critics in the past but it's stupid to be complaining about lack of signings a week before the window shuts and let's not forget that we already have a stronger team than the one that beat Liverpool at Anfield last season Huddersfield and Swansea are in our mini league. We already lost 1, if we lose on Saturday that's 6 pts thrown away. We're in the prem for Christ sake. Mandanda left over 6 weeks ago not replaced, no real competition for ward. No leader in the squad and no competition for Benteke. This window been a massive disappointment. Last season, we stayed up by the skin of our teeth. Eventually your gonna go look at villa, Sunderland and Wigan. Steve parish is chancing with prem future every season. Others have improved but we stood still at best. 8 players have left the summer and only 3 have arrived.

Shall we get Fraizer Campbell and Loic Remy back again then as they were our game changers last season At least Campbell gave his all for the shirt. If the budget was extremely low then, instead of extending Williams and Delaney. Why not offer Campbell a 1yr extension.

If we are unable to get our targets 'Over the line', Steve is not necessarily at fault. There are so many factors which influence transfer activity and often it is case of "It was NOT for the want of trying" which enters the equation. Yes it can be frustrating for supporters but fans in general really don't understand what goes on behind the scenes.

Equally it is probably better to sign nobody than to blooter our budget on a bunch of muppets who are worse than what we already have.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Transfer Window' by Guntrisoft Does anyone have any insight in to our leaders transfer policy this window, 2 defeats down a squad that is short of premier quality At least 3 quality players needed. Keeper, Centre forward, Centre back as a minimum, And no transfer news, 6 days to go until its too late. I guess it will be bargain basement time again waiting for players price's to drop that no one else wants. This thread is put here due to concerns and frustrations Comments please

In answer to your question - no-one knows who the club is looking at as they don't conduct their transfer dealings publically just like they never have done so nothing new there
