If we could get both that would be great business. And would still be £10m in the bank rather than going just for Sakho!!! Very happy with this business if/when done. Now to get a playmaker, goalkeeper and back up forward and we are done. Unsure how much budget Parish will allow as this could mean having to shelve a few plans?

I am very worried that we haven't bought a half decent striker If Benteke is injured as was Wickham, we haven't got any options and please don't mention Frazer! Defoe would have been a great alternative and could even have played up front with Benteke as part of a 4-3-3. We must score more goals than last season otherwise this year could be our last for a while in the Premier. Can't rely on one man.

I believe he also played left back against us for whatever reason , was bad and didn't play there again , he is a centre half after all and wilf could make anyone look crap.

Van Persie has been 'rumoured' and might possibly have one more decent PL season left in him... and also Babacar who we have been linked to for 18months or so.

Porto now claiming not true. Watch this become a bidding war with us, Stoke and West Brom. Whoever pays highest gets the mercenary. Is this same player who looked dire when we thrashed Stoke last seasin?
